ExxonMobil's Exxtend resin, which is processed utilizing a chemical recycling technology that breaks down leftover plastic to its molecular level, is used by Chicago-based Pregis. The resin is made by ExxonMobil at a factory in Baytown, Texas, and is used by Pregis in foam packaging made at its production facilities in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Visalia, California.
