FRC provides funding to help the city of High Point in North Carolina achieve styrofoam recycling
The Foam Recycling Coalition (FRC) of the Foodservice Packaging Institute, based in Falls Church, Virginia, awarded a $50,000 grant to the city of High Point in North Carolina to help its 117,000 inhabitants recycle foam block packaging as well as polystyrene plates, bowls, clamshells, cups, and cups. An FRC grant placed a styrofoam densifier on the site to help compress the styrofoam, which is then sold to the city's end market for insulation panels in foundations, walls and roofs.
In the process of recycling styrofoam, the styrofoam densifier must be used, because for this kind of huge garbage, the most important step is to find a way to reduce its volume. Residents of High Point and the nearby communities of Jamestown and Archdale, North Carolina, can trailer polystyrene (PS) foam to drop sites. And the residents in this area show great enthusiasm for recycling. As a styrofoam recycling expert, GREENMAX Styrofoam densifier has customers all over the United States and has been well received by customers. Styrofoam densifier is a piece of equipment supported by hot-melt technology. The maximum power can process 300kg of waste Styrofoam per hour, and the equipment with the smallest power can process 50kg of waste Styrofoam per hour. After being treated with styrofoam densifier, the waste will become 1/90 of its original volume. This equipment can not only process styrofoam, because it adopts hot-melt technology, and because of technical support, it can also recycle other types of foam, such as EPE, EPP foam. The styrofoam processed by GREENMAX machine is tight, dense, beautiful in color and shape.
Since 2015, FRC funding has gone to 31 award recipients, including High Point. Because of FRC funds, more than 10 million more people in the United States and Canada may recycle foam polystyrene. When it comes to the recycling of resources, GREENMAX also provides related services to support. In addition to providing efficient styrofoam densifier, we also provide styrofoam ingots repurchase service. We do not resell styrofoam ingots, but use this by ourselves Recycled material. GREENMAX has its own independent factory to manufacture plastic particles, and then manufacture frames. GREENMAX is committed to developing a one-stop service.
