It is well known that, like many regions, Lebanon's solid waste treatment system does not accept Styrofoam recycling. Moreover, the final result of this non-biodegradable material is usually put in the trash can. As materials criticized by many people, they occupy limited landfill space. These undoubtedly pose great restrictions on the development of Styrofoam recycling.



In order to develop new ways of foam recycling, Lebanon's forenoon environmental protection organization set up a Styrofoam and other foam collection stations on Saturday morning. They will transport Styrofoam materials to recycling facilities in Massachusetts, and then send the collected Styrofoam to Canada for treatment. Their common view is that Styrofoam recycling needs the help of a Styrofoam densifier, which can remove air from the material.

Styrofoam densifier, as a commonly used recycling equipment, has been proved to be a very feasible recycling scheme in the practice of many large Styrofoam recycling households. Local volunteers also highly recognized the equipment. Styrofoam densifier can not only compress 95% of the air in it and convert it into dense ingots, but also connect its recovery and recycling process, transfer it from the waste stream in the region, and finally return to the recycling market as plastic particles.



For each city, the main consideration of whether to introduce the Styrofoam densifier and other Styrofoam processing facilities is whether the area can collect enough bubbles to make the recycling projects feasible. Otherwise, in terms of finance, a plan that costs money but fails to achieve the expected results is obviously not allowed to pass the review.

Therefore, for every recycler or resident who has always been concerned about the environment, only by combining the efforts of all people and investing in Styrofoam recycling, can local recycling have the opportunity to further develop. The promotion of the Styrofoam recycling project requires everyone to participate in recycling. More such recycling activities should be carried out to provide recycling channels for recyclers.
